Teacher Sandie
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)
Teacher Sandie has been part of the BCNS village since 2009. She is a Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with the Ontario College of E.C.E. She also holds a Bachelor of Education with Honours from the University of Gloucestershire, UK.​ She started teaching in 2001 and has worked with young children in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. Her teaching style facilitates the learning process by viewing each child as capable and competent in creating their own learning journey.

Group Commissioner for 1st Port Perry Scout Group, Teacher Sandie has been a Scout Member and Leader since 2008 and was recognized by Mayor Bobbi Drew and the Township of Scugog as one of the Mayor’s 2018 Honour Roll recipients.
​
Teacher Sandie resides in Port Perry with her husband, Simon. Together, they have three grown children. She is a true nature-lover and passionate about being active outdoors, including gardening, camping, hiking, canoeing, skiing, and snowshoeing. She loves to travel, both near and far.
Teacher Sarah
Teacher Sarah first joined BCNS in 2014 when her daughter enrolled in the toddler program. Sarah grew up in the Scugog area and is a parent of 3 children, all of whom are graduates of the BCNS program. She loved the idea of joining a co-op nursery school so she could be involved and in the classroom. She has spent many hours over the years helping with class.

Sarah has also been an active board member, filling parent member, treasurer and vice-president roles. She has been an active volunteer in various school programs and operated childcare from her home. She loves the outdoors and singing silly songs.

We are so excited to have her and appreciate the energy she brings each and every day!
